Civic Results was founded in 1997 by Peter Kenney, John Parr and Katherine Archuleta. Originally called the Center for Regional and Neighborhood Action (CRNA), Civic Results was formed in response to the need for an organization that could provide support to government entities, businesses, nonprofits and community groups as they worked to find solutions to increasingly complex and interdependent problems.
Since its inception, Civic Results has worked with hundreds of entities at the local, state and national levels to develop innovative solutions based on multi-sector and multi-jurisdictional collaboration. Civic Results has done this through both its programs and through a variety of specialized services that it provides on a fee for service basis.
Civic Results' ongoing programming includes the Metro Mayors Caucus, Livable Communities Support Center and the Metro Denver Health and Wellness Commission. The Metro Mayors Caucus, created in 1993, is composed of 37 mayors in the Denver metro area. The Caucus develops collaborative solutions to challenges and opportunities facing the region. The Livable Communities Support Center program provides a variety of resource, program and technical assistance services in an effort to advance the smart growth and healthy living movements in Colorado. The Metro Denver Health and Wellness Commission is a multi-sector initiative to make Metro Denver "America's Healthiest Community" and to accelerate its economic and social progress.
